Laureate bust right, wearing aegis; • below bust / ETOYΣ BIP • I (dates), eagle standing right on thunderbolt, with wings displayed; • and palm frond to right. McAlee 264; RPC I 4190; Prieur 90. Lightly toned, porosity, lamination flaw on obverse, reverse die shift, die adjustment marks. Near VF.

The reverse of this coin shows a rare occurrence of the reverse die having been leveled, or prepared for engraving. The scrapes behind the eagle are present in the die and not smoothed prior to striking.
