Phoenix rising from flames, head upturned to left, with wings spread; rays to upper left, long cross above / Denomination within wreath. Divo 3a; Karamitsos 17; KM 8. Brown surfaces, a few die breaks. Good VF. An interesting variety with the sun’s rays appearing to emanate from the phoenix’s mouth.
