POTTERY. Magna Graecia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (90 mm wide x 80 mm tall). A Blackware pitcher with a flat foot, a tapered body that rounds suddenly into a short shoulder. From there, a squat neck extends into a flared, rounded lip. From the back, a single handle extends from the lip to the body. Some minor loss of glaze at points present. Minor chipping and glaze loss, scratch on bottom of vessel, otherwise intact.
