STATUARY. CHINA. In the style of the Tang Dynasty. Mold formed hollow body statue 200 mm tall by 65 mm wide. A single court attendant figure dressed in traditional Tang Dynasty attire. The figure features a rounded face with subtle facial details, typical of the period's style. The hair is arranged in a high bun, partially covered by a headdress. The hands are held together in front of the body, suggesting a formal or respectful pose. The surface of the figure shows signs of wear, and it appears that some details may have eroded over time, particularly around the hands where the figure might have originally held an objec.
