SICILY, Motya. Circa 400-397 BC. Æ Onkia or Hexas (13mm, 3.72 g, 8h). Bare head of bearded male right / Crab. Jenkins, Punic, pl. 23, 14; Campana 30B; CNS 10; HGC 2, 947; SNG Morcom 645 var. (pellet on rev.). Dark green patina. Good VF. Struck from a fresh obverse die with a clear depiction of the bearded male which is not common on this type.
