Laureate head of Zeus right / Winged thunderbolt; monogram to left, EΞP (date) and monogram to right; all within wreath. HGC 9, 1396; SNG Copenhagen 397; BMC 6-7. Glossy black patina. VF. Very rare.

This issue was struck for the Tetrapolis of Seleukis, composed of Antioch on the Orontes, Apameia on the Orontes, Laodikeia ad Mare, and Seleukeia Pieria, which was mentioned by Strabo (XVI 2,4).
