Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; K below neck / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; Φ to outer left, cult image to inner left, crescent in exergue. Arnold-Biucchi, Pergamene 67–9 corr. (obv. die 12; erroneously marked as O11 and no. 63 on the plates); Thompson 226; Müller 292; HGC 3, 1750m. Lightly toned, with golden iridescence and underlying luster, some scratches. Good VF. An obverse die of fine style. |
