Laureate head of Tiberius right / ROM ET AVG in exergue, front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels, flanked by stylized male figures; to left and right, Victories on columns; c/m: (IMP) in rectangular incuse. Like Augustus, the portrait coinage of Tiberius is extremely common in gold and silver. And, also like Augustus, his portrait on sestertii is extremely rare.
