Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (21mm, 3.35 g, 6h). Uncertain mint. IM CARAVSIVS P F AVG [sic], radiate and draped bust right / [HILARIT] AS AVG, Hilaritas standing left, holding long palm frond and cornucopia. RIC 805 var. (obv. legend). Dark brown patina with some green, some weakness. Good VF. Very rare.
