Bearded head of Herakles to left, wearing lion skin / Crab; KΩ[ION] above; below, club above HPAKΛEITOΣ; all in dotted square within shallow incuse square. Stefanaki, Kos I, Series V, 9th Emission, 265 = Ingvaldsen 35b = Pixodarus 15b = Hunt IV 395 (this coin); HN Online –; HGC 6, 1301; otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Toned, some roughness. Near EF. Very rare, only 11 examples noted with this magistrate.
