ACISCVLVS, diademed head of Apollo Soranus right; acisculus (double-headed pick) to left, star above forehead / IMP CAES TRAIAN AVG GER DAC P P REST, L VALERIVS in exergue, Europa riding bull right, holding with both hands her veil which billows out above. RIC II 804 (R4); Woytek 839; BMCRE p. 141, 34b; Komnick 41.0; RSC 34b (Restored Coins of Trajan). For prototype: cf. Crawford 474/1a. Darkly toned, scratches, roughness, flan crack. Good Fine. Extremely rare. Woytek lists four examples.
