ANGLO-SAXON, Secondary Sceattas. Circa mid 720s. AR Sceatt (12mm, 1.01 g, 4h). Series V, type 7. Mint in Kent. She-wolf standing right, head lowered and looking back, suckling twins, crouching facing each other, below / Bird standing facing, head right, between two branches. Sceatta List 62–10; MEC 8 Series V; North 120; SCBC 817. Dark iridescent tone, slight roughness. VF. Very rare.
