Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (20mm, 3.42 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 77-78. Laureate head right / Mars standing left, holding spear and trophy. RIC II.1 937; RSC 125. Toned, some minor scratches under tone, a few small deposits on obverse, flan flaw on reverse. Good VF. Expressive portrait.
