Helmeted head of Mars right, feather on helmet; malleolus above, mark of value below chin / Warrior, holding spear, with right foot on cuirass, standing left before trophy; grasshopper on prow to right; C•M(AL) to right. Crawford 335/3d; Sydenham 615a; Poblicia 6; BMCRR Italy 700-2; Kestner 2664; RBW 1204. Lovely old cabinet toning with some iridescence, reverse struck slightly off center. Choice EF.
