Pescennius Niger. AD 193-194. Æ (29.5mm, 14.57 g, 7h). Caesarea Germanica (Bithynia) mint. AVT K Γ ΠЄCK NIΓPOC • IOVCTOC CЄB, laureate head right / KAICAPIAC [Γ]ЄP MANIKHC, Zeus enthroned left, holding Nike in his extended right hand and scepter with his left. SNG Von Aulock 478 (this coin); RG – (but cf. no. 5 for same obverse die). Dark brown patina with tan highlights, a few old cleaning scratches beneath patina. VF. Extremely rare.
