Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AV Aureus (20mm, 7.23 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 202-210. SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head right / PACATOR ORBIS, radiate and draped bust of Sol right. RIC IV 282; Calicó 2487; BMCRE 353; Biaggi 1082; Jameson 164; Mazzini 355. Lightly toned with underlying luster, die rust on both sides. EF.
