CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 380-325 BC. AR Diobol (13mm, 1.14 g, 11h). Helmeted head of Athena left, helmet decorated with Skylla; E below chin, X behind neck / Herakles standing, strangling the Nemean lion; club to left, Σ between legs. Cf. Vlasto 1238/1236–7 (for obv./rev. type); HN Italy 914. Iridescent tone, traces of find patina, minor marks and light scuff on obverse, slightly off center on reverse. VF. Rare.
