Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, torch within wreath above monogram (or retrograde K?); monogram (engraved over prior monogram) below throne. Unpublished, but cf. CNG E-471, lot 24 and CNG E-155, lot 26 (both Price 3853) for same obverse die. Die break and minor die wear on obverse, a couple minor flan flaws on reverse. Near EF. Extremely rare. |
