Claudius. AD 41-54. AR Cistophorus (26mm, 10.22 g, 6h). Ephesus mint. Struck AD 41-42. Bare head left / COM ASI across field, distyle temple of Roma and Augustus, enclosing standing facing figures of Claudius, holding scepter, being crowned by Fortuna, holding cornucopia; ROM ET AVG on entablature. RIC I 120 (Pergamum); RPC I 2221; RSC 3. Toned, banker’s mark on obverse, some roughness, scratches and marks under tone. Fine.
