Diademed bust left / + ÆLFSTΛN (crescent) M–O EFR, small cross pattée. EMC 2007.0134 (this coin); SCBI 29 (Merseyside), 514 var. (rev. legend); Hild. –; BMC –; North 763; SCBC 1142. A little wavy, many marks. Fair. Very rare moneyer for mint, only three recorded in SCBI, this coin is the only additional recorded in the EMC, one in CoinArchives (Spink 234 [Stewartby I], lot 215, which hammered at £4800).

Ex Londinium Collection (Classical Numismatic Group Electronic Auction 434, 12 December 2018), lot 572. Found near Poklington, Yorkshire, by 2007.
