Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Fourrée Denarius (19mm, 2.15 g, 5h). Copying an issue of an uncertain eastern mint, AD 218-219. ANTONINVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / I V N O, Juno standing left, holding patera and long scepter; to left, peacock standing left, head right. For this reverse type used for Julia Maesa, see: RIC IV 254; Thirion 433; BMCRE 296; RSC 16. Toned, some bubbling of plating. Good VF. An exceptionally well preserved fourrée.
