Nicephorus I, with Stauracius. 802-811. AV Solidus (19.5mm, 3.12 g, 6h). Syracuse mint. Struck circa 810-811. [ҺI FORO]S bAS´, crowned facing bust of Nicephorus I, wearing short beard and chlamys, holding a cross potent in right hand, akakia in left / SτA[V CI]S ∂ЄSP´, crowned facing bust of Stauracius, wearing chlamys, holding a globus cruciger in right hand. DOC –; Anastasi 468; cf. SB 1608. Toned, trace deposits, a little die rust. VF. Very rare.
