Leo V the Armenian, with Constantine. 813-820. AV Solidus (20mm, 3.82 g, 6h). Syracuse mint. Struck circa 815-817. L[Є] OҺ bASILЄЧS, crowned and bearded facing bust of Leo, wearing loros, holding a cross potent in right hand; Λ to right / CoҺS TATIҺOS b[...], crowned facing bust of Constantine, wearing chlamys, holding a globus cruciger in right hand. DOC 14 var. (rev. legend); Anastasi 489A; SB 1631 var. (same). Toned, a few faint scratches. Near EF. Very rare.
