ЄҺ τOVτω ҺICAτ´ bASILЄI C CωҺSτ´, cross crosslet, with central X and pellet-in-crescent on shaft, set on globus atop four steps, between crowned facing busts of Basil and Constantine / + ЬASIL´/ C CωҺSτAҺ´/ ΠORFVROS´/ ΠISτV ЬAS´/ RωmAIω´ in five lines; ornament above and below. DOC 18 var. (ornaments on rev., no stop after last line); SB 1811. Toned, trace deposits, two minor scratches on reverse. EF. Well struck on a broad flan.
