EGYPT, Antinoöpolis. Circa 2nd-3rd centuries AD. PB Tessera (19.5mm, 4.32 g, 6h). Dated year 3 of an uncertain era. Nilus seated right on rocks, holding reed and cornucopia; before Nilus, Euthenia(?) standing left, raising her right hand / Antinoüs (as Hermes), wearing chlamys, holding caduceus with his right hand, on horseback right; above, Nike flying left, crowning Antinoüs with wreath; L Γ (date) to far left and right. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 16467 & 16473 (p. 322, first row, last two). Gray patina with earthen highlights/deposits. VF. Well centered and struck.
