The Triumvirs. Mark Antony and Cleopatra. Autumn 34 BC. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.26 g, 6h). Alexandria mint. Bare head of Mark Antony right; four-pointed Armenian tiara to left / Diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra right; stem of prow to right. Crawford 543/1; CRI 345; Sydenham 1210; RSC 1; RBW 1832; Nomos Obolos 9, lot 121 (same dies). Toned, porous, two banker’s marks on obverse. The coin is crystallized and reveals that crystallization on the worn spots. Near VF.
