PHOENICIA, Tripolis. 2nd-1st century BC. Æ (15mm, 3.70 g, 12h). Dated CY 9 (of Tripolis era, 98/7 BC). Jugate busts of the Dioskouroi right / Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia; L Θ (date) to left. BMC 14; SNG Copenhagen 271; HGC 10, 311; DCA2 906 (R1). Dark green and earthen-brown patina. Near VF. Rare.

An interesting example with obverse and reverse dies more similar to the much older DCA2 899. Additionally, the plate of DCA2 has the Dioskouroi with stars above their heads whereas they appear laureate on this coin and without the stars. Finally, the DCA2 plate shows Tyche holding a branch(?) instead of the rudder found on this coin as well as the HGC plate.
