ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 16.24 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Struck 165-150/149 BC. Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ monograms in fields, Δ on amphora, cicada to left. Thompson 65–73 (unlisted obv. die). Areas of flat strike, a little off center on obverse. VF.
