Divus Antoninus Pius. Died AD 161. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.13 g, 6h). Consecration issue. Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, AD 161. Bareheaded bust right, slight drapery / CONSECRΛTIO, funeral pyre of four tiers, decorated with garlands, surmounted by facing quadriga. RIC III 438 (Aurelius); MIR 18, 27/4-12 (Aurelius); RSC 164a. Lightly toned, a few shallow marks under tone. Good VF.
