Didius Julianus. AD 193. Æ Sestertius (29mm, 18.32 g, 6h). Rome mint. Laureate head right / Concordia standing left, holding signum with each hand. RIC IV 14; Banti 1. Green patina, some roughness. Fine. Rare.

One of the low points of the Roman Empire, Didius Julianus bought the empire when it was auctioned by the Praetorian guard after murdering Pertinax, only to be beheaded after 66 days.
