Hadrian, with Divus Trajan. AD 117-138. AV Aureus (18.5mm, 7.17 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck August-December AD 117. IMP CAES TRAIAN HADRIANO OPT AVG G D PART, laureate and cuirassed bust of Hadrian right, with exposed upper part of breastplate, wearing balteus / DIVO • TRAIANO • PATRI, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Divus Trajan right. RIC II.3 27 (same dies as illustration); Strack 9η; Calicó 1413 (same dies as illustration); BMCRE 46 (same dies); Adda 164 (same dies); Biaggi –; Jameson –; Mazzini –. Toned, some marks on obverse, traces of deposits. Good VF. Very rare, only this coin in CoinArchives.
