MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Stater (17mm, 16.06 g). Head of Athena left, wearing crested helmet with cheek guards, on tunny left / Quadripartite incuse square. Von Fritze I 67; Greenwell 25; Boston MFA 1446 = Warren 1443; SNG BN –; BMC 19; Gillet 1053 = Kunstfreund 5 = Jameson 2171 = Weber 4971; Gulbenkian 609; Kraay & Hirmer 701. A few minor scratches. Good VF. Well centered and struck.
