Laureate and bearded head of Hercules right / Minerva, helmeted and draped, standing right, holding spear with right hand and Victory in extended left; shield at side; C • VIBIVS downward to right, VARVS downward to left. Crawford 494/37; CRI 193; Sydenham 1139; Vibia 23; RBW 1740. Deep cabinet toning. Choice EF. Excellent metal and eye appeal for the issue. Among the finest known.
