KINGS of MACEDON. Philip V. 221-179 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30.5mm, 16.67 g, 12h). Attic standard. Pella or Amphipolis mint. Struck circa 220-211 BC. Diademed head right / Athena Alkidemos, seen from behind, advancing left, shield decorated with star on arm, preparing to cast thunderbolt; ΓΑ monogram in inner left field. Cf. Mamroth, Philip 1; HGC 3, 1055. Toned, edge split, obverse slightly off-center. VF. Extremely rare, the only known specimen with this monogram.
