KINGS of MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes. 306-283 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 16.66 g, 12h). Salamis mint. Struck circa 300-295 BC. Nike standing left on prow of galley left, blowing trumpet and cradling stylis / Poseidon Pelagaios standing left, preparing to throw trident; HP monogram to left, labrys to inner right. Newell 22 (dies XXI/– [unlisted rev. die]); HGC 3, 1012a. Lightly toned, light porosity, a few light marks. Good VF. Well struck on a broad flan.
