BAKTRIA, Local Issues. Circa 295/3-285/3 BC. AR Didrachm (19mm, 7.68 g, 6h). Uncertain mint in the Oxus region. Helmeted head of Athena right; grape bunch below end of crest / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent behind. SMAK pp. 64-70; Nicolet-Pierre & Amandry 25 (this coin); Bopearachchi, Sophytes –; SNG ANS –; HGC 12, 4 (same obv. die as illustration). Iridescent toning, deposits on reverse. Good VF. Rare.
