Laureate bust left, slight drapery / Sphinx seated right on ground line, wearing kalathos on head, forepaw resting on wheel; L I Z (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 3088; K&G 35.617; RPC IV.4 13815/13 (this coin cited and illustrated); Emmett 1682 .17 (R2). Dark brown patina with touches of green in the devices. Near VF. Rare type for this regnal year.
