ATTICA, Athens. Circa 469/5-460 BC. Æ “Dekadrachm” (35mm, 34.68 g, 6h). Carl Wilhelm Becker, engraver. Struck circa 1820. Head of Athena right, with frontal eye, wearing single-pendant earring, necklace with pendants, and crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over the visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl / Owl standing facing, wings spread; A-Θ-E clockwise around from upper right; all within incuse square. Fischer-Bossert, Athenian, p. 68, dies O1/R1, F1-F12. VF.

Becker evidently created his dies from a drawing of the de Luynes coin, the only example known at the time and also lacking the olive sprig.
