CILICIA, Tarsos. Circa 420-410 BC. AR Stater (18mm, 10.48 g, 10h). Horseman riding left, holding flower / Archer kneeling right, drawing bow; tree to left, monogram to lower right; all in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. Casabonne Type D (unlisted variety); SNG BN –; SNG Levante –; SNG von Aulock –; CNG E-428, lot 268 (same rev. die); NAC 2, lot 218 (same rev. die). Large test cut, struck from worn obverse die. VF. Extremely rare.
