Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.16 g, 6h). “Judaea Capta” commemorative. Rome mint. Struck circa 21 December AD 69-early 70. Laureate head right / IVDAEA in exergue, trophy; to right, Judaea seated right in attitude of mourning, head resting in hand. RIC II.1 2; Hendin 1479; RSC 226. Lightly toned, flan a little irregular, flan crack, minor porosity. Good VF.
