Titus. AD 79-81. Æ Semis (17.5mm, 3.75 g, 6h). Judaea Capta issue. Uncertain Eastern mint (Thrace?). Struck circa AD 80-81. Laureate head right / Jewess, in attitude of mourning, seated left on shield at base of palm tree; helmet and yoke to right. RIC II 504; Hendin 1598a; RPC II –. Dark green surfaces with light earthen highlights/deposits, some minor smoothing. Near VF. Very rare.
