ΔOMITI ANOC CЄB, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Draped bust of Sarapis left, wearing ornate kalathos; L B (date) across field. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 10820; K&G 126.8; Emmett 4243.2 (R5 = BMC 2625). Dark brown patina with areas of green, some roughness, light cleaning/smoothing scratches. VF. Extremely rare variety with Sarapis’ bust facing left, both K&G and Emmett cite the BMC specimen, and none in CoinArchives. |
