Anonymous issues. 1st-3rd centuries AD. PB Tessera (19mm, 5.24 g, 12h). Isis standing facing, holding sistrum and situla / Harpocrates standing left, raising finger to mouh and holding cornucopia. Unpublished in the standard references. Slight bend. Fine.

Though this tessera depicts a pair of Egyptian deities, the cast fabric of the piece clearly indicates it’s Italian origins, attesting to the popularity of the cult of Isis in Rome.
