Germanicus. Died AD 19. Æ Dupondius (27mm, 5h). Rome mint. Struck under Gaius (Caligula), AD 37-41. Germanicus driving triumphal quadriga right, holding eagle-tipped scepter and reins / Germanicus standing left, raising hand and holding aquila. RIC I 57 (Gaius). Brown tone, rough surfaces. In NGC encapsulation 5872729-042, graded F, damage.
