Divus Vespasian. Died AD 79. Æ Sestertius (33mm, 19.84 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck under Titus, AD 80-81. Radiate statue of Vespasian seated right on ornate stool, holding long sceptre in right hand and Victory, holding palm and wreath, in extended left hand, set on ornate car drawn right by four elephants, each with it’s own mahout / Legend around large S C . RIC II.1 257 (Titus). Dark green patina. In NGC encapsulation 5872729-081, graded Ch VF, Strike: 5/5, Surface: 3/5, lacquered.
