(star) CONCILIVM · VAT · AVSPICE · VIRGINE · IMM · A · PIO · IX · P · M · HABITVM · A · 1869, Pius IX kneeling left before vision of the Virgin, arms outstretched, standing slightly left on clouds; tiara and keys on ground / (rosette) VISVM · EST · SPIRITVI · SANCTO · NOBIS, St. Peter seated facing on elevated throne with keys across lap, pointing and holding open Gospels, addressing four prelates with religious texts at feet sitting on either side; above radiant Dove of the Holy Spirit. Bartolotti XXIV, 17. Brown surfaces, obverse corroded. Good VF.
