Kanishka standing left, holding goad and standard, sacrificing over altar; flame at shoulder / Maitreya Buddha: Buddha seated cross-legged facing on stool, hand raised in gesture of abhayamudrā and holding kamanḍalu/kuṇḍikā (water pot); trace of tamgha to inner left. Cf. Cribb, Buddha 95-6 (dies –/23); MK 792; ANS Kushan 617; Donum Burns –. Green and brown patina, small areas of chipping, light cleaning scratches. Fine.
