JUDAEA, Aelia Capitolina (Jerusalem). Diadumenian. As Caesar, AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 11.68 g, 12h). Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on thyrsus, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; wine jar (amphora) between legs. Prieur 1645; Meshorer, Aelia 99a = Sofaer 96 (same obv. die). Toned, some porosity, peripheral weakness. VF. Very rare.
