CARIA, Uncertain ('Mint E'). Circa 380-340 BC. AR Diobol or Trihemiobol(?) (10.5mm, 1.50 g, 12h). Milesian standard. Bearded head of male right / Forepart of bull left, Carian letter y on shoulder, within incuse square. Konuk, Coin M47; HN Online 1858.1 (this coin, illustrated). Toned, porous. VF.

This issue is sometimes given as an issue of the Carian dynast Hekatomnos, based on a reading of the letter as a Greek E, but this attribution is very unlikely (see the note after Konuk, Coin M49).
