NAPOLEON III LE MISERABLE * 80 000 PRISONNIERS *, head left, wearing Prussian pickelhaube and smoking pipe, with collar around neck reading SEDAN / * VAMPIRE FRANÇAIS * 2 DEC^BRE 1851 – 2 SEPT^BRE 1870, owl standing facing on cannon, wings spread, thunderbolts emanating from cannon. Scalloped edge. Collignon, Guerre 43. Brown surfaces. Good VF. The edge scalloping seemingly a later alteration.
